Your role

Saab Group Treasury & Accounting Services is a central function with a global responsibility to coordinate the financial and insurance activities within the group. Group Treasury works as Saab´s internal bank and handles the financial risk, financial flows as well as funding for the group. Accounting Services is a central function handling the overall accounting and reporting within Saab. In your role as an Accounting Assistant, you will be a part of the Treasury Operations team based in Linköping and consisting of nine employees.

You will have a wide variety of tasks within Back Office and Cash, such as:

• Monitor and manage daily cash flows and transactions
• Assist in payment flows, liquidity forecasting, and accounting
• International payments and currency management
• Account and bank reconciliations
• Certain tasks related to financial closings
• Participate in improvement projects to enhance processes
• Handling of other finance related matters

In addition to the operational work, we place great emphasis on continuously working together with the organization to develop, standardize, digitize, and streamline our processes and system support, with a focus on the overall needs of Saab. Your profile

To qualify for the role, we believe that you have a relevant education in economics or equivalent work experience in a similar role. You can communicate well in both Swedish and English. Previous experience with Unit4 ERP (Agresso) is advantageous. Additionally, experience in process improvements related to digitalization and streamlining is highly valued.

We are looking for someone who has a strong ability to collaborate with others as well as working independently. You are curious, proactive and dare to take initiative. Above all, you are detail oriented and thorough in your work, while also being able to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing situations in a structured manner. Problem solving and analytical tasks are a welcome part of your workday.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
