About the position

We are now looking for an Accountant for our client, a successful and rapidly growing electric car company. The position is based in Gothenburg.

Your daily tasks

• Responsibility for monthly closing for sales and cost of sales (CoS), as well as technical aspects of revenue recognition
• Managing monthly closing for inventory movements and related technical aspects
• Preparing reconciliations per SoX requirements
• Identifying, designing, and implementing process improvements to ensure SoX compliance within your areas of responsibility
• Analysing management reports and financial performance during closing periods
• Supporting the transition to the SAP S4 Hana ERP system, including troubleshooting, configuration optimization, and report development
• Identifying, designing, and implementing process automation
• Handling ad-hoc investigations and inquiries related to sales and inventory areas

Your characteristics

We are looking for a structured and analytical accountant with a strong background in accounting and financial systems. To succeed in this role, you should have experience in accounting within the manufacturing industry and a solid understanding of SoX requirements and process improvements. As a problem solver, you take initiative and thrive in a dynamic environment where you can drive improvements and optimize financial processes. Additionally, you are detail-oriented, solution-driven, and enjoy collaborating across departments to enhance efficiency. Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Economics
• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience in the Manufacturing Industry
• Experience in Auditing, meaning have experience reviewing a company's finances, processes, and regulatory compliance
• Has good knowledge of SoX requirements and process improvements
• Is analytical, solution-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic work environment
• Be able to communicate fluently in both spoken and written English

Meritorious

• Experience working with SAP is a significant advantage

Contract type and hours

Full-time, assignment initially 6 months through Perido, thereafter possible takeover by the client. Start 2025-05-01.
